Great anywhere pack!

I bought this bag for my husband and her absolutely loves it. He likes the size a feel of the bag, I bought the larger size. It fits on him nicely(6’ 185 lbs) and the brass fittings feel so reliable! Well done to all at Frost River.

Same great quality I'm accustomed to from Frost River

This is the 3rd pack I've gotten from Frost River. I wanted a pack to replace my daily commuter/work pack. I love the rugged look and quality of Frost Rivers packs. It's slightly smaller then my current pack, a little heavier, and lacks the extra pockets and compartments but I can adapt to that. I'll take the added durability and looks over all that. Having the ability to reduce the size using the roll-top (when carrying less) is also great. I look forward to using this pack for a long time as I'm sure this will outlast every other work pack I've owned.

The greatest pack you will ever own

I am back looking to buy a smaller everyday pack but thought I would write a review on this bag, which I already own. It is literally the greatest bag you will ever purchase. I have had mine close to 10 years now, and it has traveled around the world and is still going strong. The yoke system for the straps evenly distributes weight so it makes carrying large loads a breeze. The roll top is fantastic as you can basically double the size of your pack by filling it to the top, or easily roll it down when carrying smaller loads. The leather, fabric, and all hardware is still going strong. The canvas is incredibly durable and looks better with age. After 100s of thousands of miles and many trips I began to see small amount of wear in the bottom corners of the pack, totally understandable with so much use! I asked if I could send it back to Frost River for reinforcement and they kindly took in my pack, reinforced the areas of wear, and sent it back to me. Truly the greatest pack, and such a wonderful company. If you're on the fence because it's expensive, do it! It will literally last you a lifetime and become the greatest bag you ever own. Very few items are made with such quality and care these days. I hope Frost River is in business forever, because I can't imagine buying anything else.
