Production Technician - Finishing

Production Technicians prepare and install rivets, grommets, buckles, back straps, etc. onto Frost River products.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use appropriate equipment to install final assemblies, ensuring the highest quality product
  • Assist production sewers in the production of handcrafted goods
  • Ability to hand pound rivets is essential
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Operate rivet, grommet, and snap setting machine
  • Improve your processes and yourself each day

Internship - Photography & Videography

Frost River is seeking an intern to assist in shooting lifestyle and studio photos as well as creating video reviews for our extensive product line. Through this internship you will source and oversee a pool of volunteers and edit/create videos and photography for the business website.


Project Deliverables: Provide Frost River with 2-minute video product reviews, video clips for social media use, and each week a batch of photography from the week's photoshoot. Assist with other video, photography, and website work as needed.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to learn about product collection including 300 products 
  • Source individuals to be featured in videos/models for photoshoot
  • Assist in location scouting for outdoor reviews
  •  Creative planning of photo/video content
  •  Producing all video content
  •  Photo/Video Editing and formatting for online use 
  •  Act as an extension of Frost River and reflects the business in a professional manner
  • Able to access and navigate the production and retail facility
  • Work in a fast-paced environment

Industrial Sewing Operator

Industrial Sewing Operators operate and tend sewing machines to join, reinforce, and overall construct a robust collection of designs. They monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions. Operators cut material according to specifications, using blades, scissors, or other electrical equipment.


Sewing operators will work both individually and in teams to manufacture goods.


This position is for individuals that posses sewing skills and experience. (Scroll for employment opportunities that with no sewing experience needed, below.

· Operate single needle and serger machines for 5-10 hours

· Trace patterns and cut material to replicate specific patterns for each item

Production Technician - Float

Production Technicians work with automated cutting machines and tacking machines to cut and apply canvas and leather components to Frost River softgoods. This employment opportunity supports the production team in providing kits comprised of all of pieces and materials needed for sewing staff to craft products. There is opportunity to expand the position and cross-learn other aspects of production.

Production Technician - Screen Printing

  • Review work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities
  • Select screen size, degreasing agents and emulsion coatings
  • Load screens into the printer
  • Install and reposition screen printing plates and pressure roles
  • Calibrate printer before the batch is printed
  • Operate a heat-press machine to apply logos to products
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arrive
  • Assist with drying, folding, and packing
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
