Handcrafted Takes Time

We make all of our reliable softgoods at our manufacturing facility in Duluth, Minnesota. Each Frost River item starts as a roll of waxed canvas or a hide of leather and is handcrafted into the item of your choice by skilled tradespeople. Stitch by stitch and rivet by rivet–handcrafting takes time.


While we do try to have as many items as possible in-stock, sometimes we may need to build one of the items on your order. You can know what to expect for timeline by looking at the stock notifications on each product page. If we have the item/items completed, you can expect your order to ship in 1-2 business days from when you placed it. If we need to make an item for you, there will be a message denoting, "Crafting, this item will ship in 7-10 business days." The sooner you place your order, the sooner the item will make it to your doorstep.

Shipping Information

What to Expect

Orders for goods that are in stock normally ship the same day, or if on a holiday or weekend, the next business day. You can expect to receive an email when your order has been confirmed, another when its ready to ship, and final when the package is out for delivery. *Please note that while we will make every effort to get your package on its way to you, once it leaves our shipping department with your carrier of choice, shipping guarantees or lack thereof are all handled by the carrier. Please check their individual terms or give us a call if you have any questions.

Expedited Shipping

If you need expedited shipping it is a good idea to give us a call to find out if the item is available for immediate shipping. You can reach us at 218.727.1472 or 800.FROST84. If your order is placed after 3pm CST, it will not be processed until the next business day.

International Shipping

Shipping timeframe for international shipping will be dependent on the chosen carrier. We do not have control over any Duties / Tariff’s and said costs will be the customers responsibility.

Return Information

We Here at Frost River are an Understanding Bunch.

Whether that Large Flight Bag is far larger than anticipated or if the gift of the Small Field Satchel is not quite what you need for your 2 month arctic adventure, we will do our best to help. Simply follow our return instructions below and we will make things right.

Returns for credit will be accepted up to 30 days after the invoice date. Please note that custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. 


Instructions:

Include a copy of your invoice. If you no longer have the invoice, include a letter with the following information:


1. Name

2. Address

3. Phone number

4. Email address

5. Date of purchase

6. Reason for the return

7. Specify whether you would like an exchange or a refund to the credit/bank card used.


We will credit your account within 10-15 business days.

Items being returned or exchanged must be in a new, unused, and unaltered condition. We reserve the right to not grant an exchange or return due to age or signs of use. Returns must be in original condition upon inspection on arrival.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We may have to contact you for additional information to complete the return.
