For us, nothing sparks the urge to get outside more than hearing our friends and family share their favorite (and sometimes not-so-favorite) outdoor adventures. That's why we've created the Frost River Community Journal. We're inviting Duluth locals to share their stories with us! We've set up a big cork board and journal in the store to display your photos and stories for everyone to see and get inspired. Just bring in a photo and a few words about your adventure, and we'll proudly put it on display for the many people who pass through our store.

What kind of stories are we looking for? Think of that adventure you can't wait to relive. Whether you narrowly escaped the grasp of a 1,700lb polar bear or spotted your favorite bird on a day hike, we want to hear about it. Your story doesn't need to involve our gear or how a Frost River Canoe Pack saved your life--it's all about building up our community and inspiring people to stop waiting for 'someday' and start exploring today. Life is too short to let your gear sit in storage.
