Exactly what I hoped it would be. Old school look, durable materials, made in America.

Jay Cooke Sling Pack
After 5 months of use in the woodland, I have to say this little ruck sack can hold a good amount of gear. I have packed a Stanley2 cup cook set, MSR Micro stove nested inside, gas bottle, eating utensils, can of soup, salt and pepper shakers, sheaved knife, bandages, trash bags, numerous condiments, 1 bottle of water. That's quite a bit considering the size the size of the Pack. Organized packing can get you far. P!us I get a lot of compliments from people. I also have the Isle Royale Pack Medium...the Mini would have been sufficient. Good job Frost River....

Great Sling Pack
Been using my Jay Cooke Sling Pack so far going to and from the gym toting a 16 oz water bottle, pass key, phone and car keys and a windbreaker and for just that it’s very handy. Of course looking forward to taking it on some short trail hikes also soon. The pack’s design seems well thought out and the brass hook fasteners work very well. The pack is a good size and for the premium price, the quality build of the pack reflects the price so no regrets whatsoever-good job Frost River!
