When we set out to refine the Summit Pack, we turned to the experts at Camp Manito-wish in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. Their insight helped us design a backpack that works just as well with a light day load as it does with a heavy, high-volume haul. The result is the Summit Boulder Junction Pack: a rugged, adaptable pack built to thrive in the woods, on the trail, or in town.

A zippered bottom compartment keeps muddy boots, wet rain gear, or dirty clothes separate from the rest of your essentials. A gusseted front pocket with a brass buckle makes space for necessities, while an internal sleeve fits a laptop, water bladder, or map folder. Twin zipper slides give you fast access, so the gear you need most is never buried.

Comfort comes from padded backstraps and our brass ring suspension system, which allows the pack to move with you while staying balanced on your back. Made from weather-resistant waxed canvas, it’s tough enough for seasons of hard use and built by hand in Duluth, Minnesota—guaranteed to last a lifetime of adventures.

Summit Boulder Jct Pack

Heirloom pack and quality throughout! I opted for the buckskin shoulder straps and sternum strap. The pack is comfortable to carry and I like the adjustability for different sized loads. I plan on using the pack for hunting & trail excursions, as well as a weekend bag. I paired my pack with a large Iona's Pack Cube and it fits perfectly in the main section. I am very pleased with another great Frost River product!
