The Jay Cooke Pack is a versatile sling designed for comfort and function. Its 2-inch cotton web shoulder strap rides easily across your chest or back, even when the bag’s loaded down. Adjust the strap to fit, or release it quickly with the solid brass g-hook.

External organization comes in the form of a cord and barrel system up front, perfect for strapping down a light jacket or cap. Two zippered pockets provide secure storage: the flap pocket has a brass swivel hook to keep keys safe, while the pocket beneath the flap offers an organizer panel with multiple slip pockets for cards, notebooks, or small gear.

    My intent was to find a satchel like bag to carry on my walks. This carry style works better than I hoped for and is easy to slip in and out of when I need to, well done.

    Frost River Sling Pack

    Haven’t ordered the sling pack as of yet, but will be soon- All of my Frost River items have been the best in quality- esp for us outdoorsy types who show no mercy when outside trouncing thru the woods and up steep hills and hollers with our gear- My husband & I are retired professionals, and are now called to being Earth missionaries for those who are in need physically and spiritually-We provide healthy snacks along the trails and to those who have no home or shelter, we provide a tent and provisions- to anyone in need.

    Jay Cooke Sling Bag

    I recently received my bag, and I’m in the process of figuring out how to use it, where to fit it in to my EDC. I like the configuration, but I want to maximize its’ utility. I believe I need to try a thing or two first.
