Tales from the trail
This is perfect for a day shooting 100 rouds of trap, skeet, or sporting clays. I can also see how you could use this for other purposes. It's not to big but it just seems to be the right size for anything you might want to do for a day in the outdoors. I can fit my wood carving gear in this or put a small pocket stove and some food in it for a walk in the forest. I highly recommend this bag for it's versatility and it's construction.
Couldn't be happier with this bag/shell kit. I haven't taken it to the range yet but it does hold 6 boxes of shells snuggly. I usually shoot 100 rounds when I'm out at the range so I was able to put my electronic muffs and my waist shell holder into the bag no problem. The bag did not come with a shoulder strap but I don't think I'll miss that. I use those strap wrings for a shooting towel and to hook on my shooting glasses. But this bag coulde be used for so much more. Bottom line is this is just another great product Frost River.
Why didn’t I buy this bag years ago?! It’s perfect for shotgun shells, gun cleaning supplies, tools, or anything else you need to keep handy. The material is top notch and the zipper is sturdy. I’ll be ordering 2 or 3 more soon.
This is the perfect small bag you never knew you needed. I bought the Shell Kit bag about 10 months ago and since then it has seen daily usage as my lunch bag / ammo bag / tool bag and it still looks like the moment I unwrapped it. I looked a long time for a small, bulletproof, all purpose bag like this. I have been a die hard customer of the Duluth competition for 15 years so I almost bought theirs BUT I really loved the look of the Frost River and decided to give them a try. I have zero regrets and now I am a converted Frost River fan. The details and craftsmanship are amazing. The competition wants 1/3 more money and they don't even have a shoulder strap or accent leather handle details.
Just received my second Frost River bag (Curtis Flight Bag) and it is equally as impressive. Great value!
