It’s a short hike up to the High Falls of the Baptism River in Tettegouche State Park. The scenery is amazing, some of the best Minnesota has to offer! Good thing you brought a snack and some water so you can stay awhile.

Description

The High Falls-Short Day pack is a perfect go-to on a quick hike. An inside sleeve works great for a water bladder, the hose can poke out the top (thanks to twin zipper pulls) and get clipped to the handy loops on the shoulder straps. Our waxed canvas is tough, quiet, and water resistant. The pack’s shape fits a back great, you’ll forget you’re wearing it until you want what’s inside.

Awesome little pack!

Very pleased with the bag. Was looking for something small and durable, and that’s exactly what I got.

Colors are great & seems well constructed. This is going to be my daily pack for a while to come.

High Falls Day Pack

Was gifted to me by my friend, I have the Nussmuk pack, but it is a little to big for a EDC pack. The High Falls Day Pack is almost perfect, big enough to carry my school supplies ( I'm a welding Instructor at a college), the pack is very well construct. I also use the pack for trips to the flea market, in case I find I can't live without.
The two best parts I like is the shoulder straps are adjustable when you are wearing it ( unlike the Nussmuk that has buckles), and the full length zipper, which allows me to open it, since I use this more as a admin pouch for pens, pencils and note book and yearly planner.
Highly recommend the pack, but it is not a huge pack, the front zipper pocket is not big, but I use it to carry/hold my wallet. So if you need to carry a lot of items, this might not be for you.
The only thing I would improve on is the top hanging strap that is small, and I worry if that part will last.

Frost River makes excellent products. I’ve purchased 14 different items from this company through the years. Each was great quality. Perfect Day Hike Pack

This is my 4th FR product, and it does not disappoint. Free movement with narrow profile yet large enough for lots of "stuff". I even fit a three cup Moka pot/cup along with other gear for a 7-mile trip. Perfect spot lower center for a state patch. I work at a large conservation area and never hesitate to recommend Frost River gear to our guests.
