Very neat little daypack that can easily have it's storage capacity artificially doubled using the attachment systems mounted to the sides, bottom, and top. Haven't found much of a use for the G-hooks on the bottom left and upper right sides yet, but I'm far from done experimenting with it. If you're thinking about getting any packs, bite the bullet on this one.
I needed a smaller pack but always like the ability to add to my packs. It’ll take me a bit to figure out how many different ways I can accessorize this pack but I never doubt their quality. I do like the zippers as they make opening and closing much easier and quicker.it is my work lunch bag.
Beautiful bag, with a lot of attachment points. Perfect for when I'm planning a big trip and need to carry several different things, but still need my hands free. Plus, the customer service team was amazing in helping me find exactly the type of bag I needed!
This pack is very versatile and looks right at home both in the outdoors and on the daily commute. Mine has been my go-to bag for day hikes and for work on occasions where I need a backpack rather than a brief. I love the multiple attachment points and how much junk I can fit in it without it being cumbersome to carry.
I noticed in the Field Guide IX it says that this bag has a laptop sleeve. Unless they’ve updated the design this is incorrect. There’s only a zippered dangler pocket. You can however fit a laptop in the back of the pack but it’s not protected by a sleeve. No biggie for me but worth noting if you’re looking to buy this one.
Build quality is above and beyond, like all Frost River bags.
This bag perfectly fits my 15” laptop, padfolio, and various file folders - might be able to get a light jacket in there as well, but not much else keeping it nice and compact. The three accessory pockets are easily accessible and the strap attachments allow plenty of options to strap on a water bottle or whatever else you’d want. Definitely happy with it.
