Description

The Box Style Hunter Utility provides plenty of space in a small footprint, and is sized similar to our Woodsman Pack with a side gusset. It's a solid pack, designed to give you what you need, and get you out in the field doing what you love at a price point that works. It'll serve you well any time you want to have higher visibility, whether hunting or not. Our Hunter Orange backpacks are all made of the same waxed canvas from the same manufacturer as our field tan waxed canvas. For this color, we use a lighter weight, tighter weave 10.10 oz. canvas that provides the same rugged-wearing toughness and reliability as the rest of our packs. The water-resistance of the waxed canvas lasts, and is re-treatable, the fabric repairable for year after year of hikes to the bush camp. Our Hunter Orange Packs are built to get you out into the wilds with the function and safety of made in USA high-visibility. The Box Utility backpack provides great value and function for the price, but doesn't skimp on durability. It's made by hand in Duluth, MN, and guaranteed for life.

OK, but...

This has a lot of what I am looking for for in a pack to take my stuff to my deer stand. However, having used something similar for the past ten years, I would like to see the following additions:
--- a sternum strap;
--- a hip belt.
My current pack load including a days food, extra ammo, fire starters, knife, a thermos, and equipment to stay out all day in 10-degree cold, is about fifteen pounds. Thus the hip belt really takes a load off my shoulders.
