The WestEnder offers a spacious main compartment as well as a belt strap with enough length to use the pack as a crossbody bag. Solid Brass G-hook Made special just for the Frost River Hip Haulers, the solid brass G Hook offers easy on and off capability. Built from our heavyweight 18oz canvas, it's made to last and has our solid brass G-hook for quick sizing adjustments and easy on and off a waist. The belt strap is long enough for most to wear across the chest and twin zipper slides provide access options.

Great material. Tough, sturdy and very well made. However, the waist strap is not easy to adjust. Rather than having a strap that clips together and you can quickly pull the strap to tighten, this one requires that you take the waist pack off and work with well made, but extremely stiff straps. If you take your jacket on and off like I do, it takes 5 minutes to readjust the strap to because it is so stiff and lacks flexibility. The design of the strap needs to be made much much easier.

I get too many compliments on the WestEnder Waist Pack. Ugh! I have to talk to complete strangers, telling them about the high quality goods Frost River has to offer..
