For those who want assistance with carrying a heavy load the premium version uses the same great leather and adds foam padding wrapped with buckskin. It increases comfort and style by distributing weight and allowing a little bit of cushion. All the Accessories will slide over our hardware, no need to send your strap in, you can take care of the upgrade yourself. We now offer a Heritage Black Bridle Leather pads to pair with our Heritage Black shoulder bags. All shoulder pads are 9 inches in length.

Wonderful addition to the Big Manitou

I always wanted a high quality, good looking messenger style bag to use as a briefcase for work. I purchased a Big Manitou a few months ago and couldn't be happier, but I have a tendency to fill it up! The Buckskin Padded Shoulder Pad really helps distribute the weight evenly and make carrying all if my stuff more comfortable. As an added bonus, it's a little more "grippy" than the leather pad that comes standard with the bag-- so my strap doesn't slide off my shoulder when I'm not carrying it cross body.
