The generous top-flap buckles over the Knapsack's ample opening; cordlock and drawstring cinch out spindrift and alpine blasts. Comfortably wide cotton web shoulder straps plus a large grab loop complete the pared-down elegance of the Frost River Knapsack. A classic daypack, simple, functional, and effective.

Full Size Back Pack

Hi folks at F.R. The Knapsack was received in great shape. Mandy and Bosco made sure the initials were attached and promptly shipped to us. At this time we provided 4 stars yet after our Hiking in TN next week we will rate it again! All 5 of us hikers have F.R. backpacks.

Awesome little EDC bag.

I ordered this as my daily commute bag and it's the perfect size for a couple of folders, a planner, and a water bottle without being too big. The design and aesthetics are EXACTLY what I was looking for, and the quality is top notch. Very fair price from a non-pretentious company as well. I'm so glad I went with this choice over more expensive waxed canvas options. Happy to support this made in USA brand. Keep up the amazing work!

Feel like im in a skyrim/oblivion game whilst wearing, unique

Much bigger (and badass) then expected

So briefly, I am as picky as they come. I have had all manner of backpack from ultra light technical to more casual. I wanted certain features, and as a result, almost missed this pack. I won’t go in to why I wanted canvas this time. I wanted simplicity and comfort. Not too big, not too small. Ease of use for daily carry.

This pack ended up being soooooo it. I thought it was too small from the marketing, but upon arrival I was so happy to find it much bigger than anticipated. I don’t know how pack companies determine liters, but if you’ve had packs before you know that can vary wildly. One 20 liter isn’t like another 20 liter. I feel like this is definitely closer to a 15-20. Which is perfect for daily carry. Not too big - not too small.

I thought I had to have outside water bottle pockets, but the ease of pulling bottles in and out of this pack with its rugged drawstring, just makes it unnecessary. As a result it’s a super cool, clean looking pack. I immediately got compliments on its look- and it holds my laptop (no padding but that’s not a concern for me- if it was I would a pad for it- the pack would be worth adding that)

It rides like a dream in my opinion. In summary, I’ve had a million packs and sold them all. This will be a forever pack for sure.
