Bazaar Tote

It was finally time to retire my work backpack (not FR). Wanted a tote and was looking at leather when it was my husband who reminded me to look at Frost River. Of course I decided I wanted to support this company and its mission. I needed a versatile bag that would carry my work items, computer, etc. plus lunch, jacket umbrella, shoes - basically versatile enough for my minimum items but able to haul the whole load when needed. I wasn’t sure if the size and structure would work but loved the look of the bag. It was the adjustable shoulder straps, the inside straps that narrow the top of the bag when carrying it, and confirmation from a FR employee that they used the bag for similar purpose and loved it. It IS a gorgeous bag. I ordered a felt insert to organize smaller items which works well. The straps are comfortable on the shoulder and the buckles are beautiful. I am 5’10 so this size bag doesn’t overwhelm
my frame. Is it heavy? In my opinion not any heavier than others totes I was looking at. For me, it works - I like the openness and roominess. If you want something more structured, with pockets and zipper then look at something else. The snaps inside the bag that cinches it together at the top are a good feature to streamline it a bit when carrying. Even if I would have decided I wanted a more structured work tote, I would have kept the bazaar bag because it’s just that nice and versatile.

Great tote large enough room for everything, I like that you can snap the sides in for a smaller loads, I think the straps should be longer to carry over your shoulder.

I bought this piece to compliment my other two pieces from Frost River on trips. I plan to use it for carrying items I usually don’t pack in my luggage or pack. I absolutely love the quality and have no doubts it will last for decades.

Fantastic tote. Large but manageable size that is perfect for a purse or weekend bag. So versatile you might want two.

This tote is incredible! I love to carry it snapped if possible because all of the contents remain secure within the bag. The adjustable leather straps look and feel like a dream. I had initials placed on the bag which absolutely elevated the look. I have looked for a tote like this my entire adult life, and now, here it is! An incredible buy!
