Frost River Cotton Cap

Every piece made by frost river is a work of art! Favorite brand of all time. Bring back artisan made 5 panel waxed canvas/wool hats please!

Over the years, I've bought several bags & packs from Frost River & have thoroughly impressed with the quality & craftsmanship of every single one. So many, in fact, that I've begun to give them as gifts to several of my friends.
This hat unfortunately falls far below that bar. I am okay with the fact that I wrongly assumed that the hat I selected would be tin cloth (based on the drawing), that the leather logo is much smaller than it appears to be, but was further disappointed when I found that the closure on the hat clearly did not match the drawing as well. The drawing shows a leather band & brass fitting to fasten the hat in the back and the hat I received has a simple Velcro strip as in the photos of the others.
Had I known that the hat I selected (leather, natural) didn't resemble the drawing and actually looked like the others, I would not have paid $40 for this hat. It's a nice hat; well made, good materials (hence the stars), but simply not what I though I was ordering. Caveat emptor.

I have owned this hat for some time and is comfortable to wear summer or winter. It now shows alot of wear and looking to buy 2 more......pls bring these back.

Just recieved this hat and it looks/feels amazing. Durable thick canvas, careful stitchwork, and obviously made to last.
Their customer service is top notch as well.
